Lifescan Scotland are one of the largest
employers in the Highlands and manufacture sophisticated medical devices
for the health care sector. Lifescan have a standard operating procedure in place to track details of authorised contractors and of permits that are issued to allow a contractor to work on equipment or in some part of the factory. Many permits-to-work are issued a week and a reliable and simple to use system was needed to assist staff with the process and maintain quality standards. Momentum were chosen to analyse, build and provide end user training for the whole system.
